How do you ship research peptides and how long does delivery take?
Orders ship from our Arizona fulfillment center in plain, unmarked packaging, usually within 1–3 business days. Domestic US delivery typically arrives in 2–5 business days via USPS or UPS with tracking. Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides are stable at ambient temperature for the duration of standard domestic transit, so cold-chain shipping is not required for the powder form.
Do you offer discreet shipping and package tracking?
Yes. Every order ships in plain, unmarked packaging with no reference to peptides, chemistry, or research use on the exterior. A tracking number is emailed at fulfillment so you can follow the shipment door-to-door. Signature confirmation is included on higher-value research orders.
Do you ship research peptides internationally?
We currently ship within the United States only. International customs clearance for research chemicals is inconsistent and frequently results in seizure or destruction of the shipment, so we do not offer international delivery. This also protects the cold chain — domestic transit keeps lyophilized vials well within their stability window.
How should research peptides be stored after they arrive?
Store unopened lyophilized vials in a freezer at -20°C for long-term storage, or in a refrigerator at 2–8°C if used within a few weeks. After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water, keep the vial refrigerated at 2–8°C and use within 4–6 weeks. Protect all vials from light and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, which degrade peptide integrity.
What are your peptide storage guidelines for lyophilized vs reconstituted vials?
Lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder: -20°C or colder preserves potency for 24+ months; a standard refrigerator at 2–8°C is fine for 3–6 months. Reconstituted (liquid) peptides: refrigerate at 2–8°C and typically use within 30 days, depending on the specific sequence. Never leave a reconstituted vial at room temperature for more than 24–48 hours, and always protect vials from direct light.
What's the shelf life of a peptide vial, and does it have an expiration date?
Every third-party tested Certificate of Analysis (COA) documents the manufacture and retest dates. Lyophilized peptides stored at -20°C typically retain full potency for 24 months or longer. Reconstituted vials should be used within 4–6 weeks. Signs of degradation include cloudiness, particulates, or discoloration of a previously clear solution.
How do I reconstitute a peptide, and how much bacteriostatic water do I use?
Peptides ship as a lyophilized powder that must be reconstituted with bacteriostatic water before use in research. Slowly inject the water down the side of the vial — do not spray directly onto the pellet — and swirl gently until fully dissolved. Never shake. How long does bacteriostatic water last after it's been opened?
Bacteriostatic water contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol to inhibit bacterial growth. Once punctured with a needle, the strict guideline is to discard the vial after 28 days, because the benzyl alcohol slowly evaporates and antimicrobial protection declines. Store bacteriostatic water at room temperature and away from direct light.
What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and how do I verify one?
A COA is a document from an independent analytical lab that reports the identity, purity, and quality of the peptide.
