About Optimized Aminos
Optimized Aminos is a US-based supplier of high-purity research peptides for in-vitro laboratory and educational use. We source from GMP-audited manufacturers, third-party test our catalog, and ship domestically from our fulfillment center.
We're headquartered in the United States and ship all domestic orders from our US fulfillment facility — no overseas relabeling, no drop-shipping from abroad.
Three things: (1) our peptides are independently HPLC + mass-spec tested, with the COAs published publicly rather than sent on request, (2) fast US shipping from our Arizona facility, and (3) real support from a team that understands the research use case.

Products & Purity
Our research peptides are independently tested by HPLC and mass spectrometry, and most verify at ≥99% purity — each product page lists the exact figure for that compound. Diluents such as bacteriostatic water are USP grade rather than a purity percentage. Third-party tested COAs are published publicly in our archive at /coa; if one is not yet posted for a SKU, email us and we will send it.
Email email support with your order number and SKU. We send the third-party tested PDF — never a generic or recycled file — within one business day.
Yes. Testing is done by an independent ISO-accredited lab, not in-house. The COA lists the lab, method, batch number, and purity percentage.
All peptides ship as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder sealed under nitrogen for stability. Reconstitution is the buyer's responsibility for their research protocol.
Unopened lyophilized vials are stable at room temperature for short periods but should be refrigerated (2–8°C) for long-term storage. After reconstitution, store at 2–8°C and use within the manufacturer's stability window for the compound.
Lyophilized peptides stored at 2–8°C are typically stable for 24+ months. Reconstituted peptides should be used within 30 days when refrigerated, sooner for less-stable compounds.

Handling & Storage
Inspect the seal and vial for damage on arrival. Keep vials upright, protect from direct light and heat, and move them into cold storage as soon as practical. Wipe the rubber stopper with an alcohol swab before any needle puncture.
For long-term storage, keep sealed lyophilized vials in a freezer at -20°C — they remain stable for 24+ months. Refrigeration at 2–8°C is fine for shorter windows (3–6 months). Avoid repeated warm-up/cool-down cycles.
Refrigerate reconstituted vials at 2–8°C, keep them upright, and protect from light. Use within the compound's documented stability window (typically 4 weeks; less for more fragile sequences).
Only if you need to hold it beyond its refrigerated stability window, and only in single-use aliquots. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles degrade peptide integrity — never re-freeze the same vial.
Once punctured, discard bacteriostatic water after 28 days per the manufacturer guideline — the 0.9% benzyl alcohol preservative loses efficacy over time. Store at room temperature, away from light.
Signs include cloudiness, visible particulates, discoloration of a previously clear solution, or an off smell. If any of these appear, discontinue use and contact support with your batch number.

Yes — payment is captured at checkout so we can release the order to fulfillment the same or next business day.
The most common cause is an address mismatch between billing and the card on file. Double-check your billing ZIP, or contact your bank — some issuers flag research-supply transactions and need a quick verbal approval.
Yes — volume tiers apply automatically at checkout, and lab/institutional accounts get additional pricing. Email email support for a wholesale quote.
Yes — every order earns points redeemable at checkout. Points and balances appear in your account dashboard.

Contact us within 1 hour of placing the order. Once a label has been generated we can't recall the shipment, but we'll work with you on the return.

Shipping & Delivery
Most US orders ship within 1–3 business days from our domestic facility via USPS or UPS. Standard transit is 2–4 business days; expedited options are available at checkout.
Flat-rate USPS domestic shipping starts at a few dollars, with free standard shipping on US orders over $100. Expedited USPS Priority and UPS options display live rates in the cart.
Yes — US orders over $100 ship free via USPS standard. The current progress toward free shipping is shown in the cart and at checkout.
Yes. All shipments go out in plain, unbranded packaging with a generic return label. Nothing on the exterior indicates the contents.
We currently ship within the United States. International availability depends on the destination country's import rules — email support before ordering from outside the US.
Yes to both. USPS is our default carrier so PO Boxes and military addresses are fully supported.
Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides are stable at ambient temperature for the duration of standard domestic transit, so a cold pack is not required for the powder form and is not included by default. If you'd like an insulated pouch with a gel ice pack added to your order, request it in the checkout notes — it's available as an add-on for $5 per shipment.
A tracking number is emailed automatically when your label is created. You can also view tracking inside your account under Orders.
Not yet. USPS and UPS sometimes go 24–48 hours between scans, especially over weekends. If there's no movement for 7+ business days, email support and we'll open a claim.
Signature confirmation is optional at checkout. High-value orders default to signature required for your protection.
Returns & Issues
Because our products are research chemicals, all sales are final and we cannot accept returns. Instead, every unopened vial is covered by our 30-day replacement guarantee — if it arrives damaged, is lost in transit, or is defective, we ship a free replacement. See the Refund Policy for full terms.
Email email support within 30 days of delivery with photos of the packaging and product. Once verified, we ship a free replacement — no return needed. This is a replacement, not a cash refund.
Lyophilized peptides often look like a thin film or small pellet at the bottom of the vial — this is normal and does not indicate short weight. If you're unsure, photograph the vial and email support.
If tracking shows no movement for 7+ business days we'll open a carrier claim and ship a replacement at no cost to you.
Email support within 30 days with your order number and a photo of the label on the vial you received. We'll ship the correct item immediately and provide a prepaid return label for the mistake.
Once approved, refunds post to the original payment method within 3–5 business days. Bank posting times vary.

No — guest checkout is available. Creating an account lets you track orders, save addresses, earn loyalty points, and re-order faster.

No. All compounds sold by Optimized Aminos are strictly for in-vitro research and educational purposes. They are not intended for human consumption, injection, ingestion, or any in-vivo application.
No license is required to purchase, but by completing checkout you affirm you are at least 21 years old and the products will be used solely for research purposes.
No. Research peptides are not FDA-approved drugs. They are sold as reference materials for laboratory research only.
